Well, seeing as your sophomore GPA is pretty bad, your cumulative GPA is going to take a huge hit.

Nice self-congratulatory statement there. Everyone knows you don’t need to take the SAT again.

Also, you have a good SAT score but a not-so-good GPA. This might prevent you from getting into upper tier UC’s (I speak from experience, having friends who have gotten into and not gotten into the top-tier UC’s this year).

Does that include UC Davis, SB, or SD?

I think that you have a shot at UC Merced… but even that campus is iffy due to your low sophomore GPA. Your SAT is impressive, but GPA weighs much higher than SAT scores.

I think your in, not have a shot with UCM, UCR, UCI, UCD, UCSB, UCSD, UCSC and you have a shot with UCLA. Reason why your junior year is perfect and your SAT and ACT scores are off the charts. This can all change if you havent taken the SAT Subject Test’s if so you might want to take them asap.

Can you chance me back please?

I’m assuming you have state residency

Cal- very unlikely
UCLA- Very unlikely
UCSD- Reach
Davis-Match
UCSB- Match
UCI-Match
UCSC- Likely Match
UCR- Safety
UCM- Safety

You have a 3.7 which even with a terrible 10th grade year is well above average at Riverside and Merced, and Right in line with UCSC. My guess is if you apply to all the UCs You’ll get into all three lower level, two of the three mid level, and you’ll be very, very lucky if you get into a top tier. Just my opinion.

What happened Sophomore year? You’re obviously a very intelligent person, considering your SAT score, so is there a reason for your poor GPA that year? Unfortunately, unless you can explain it, that GPA will probably keep you out of the upper tier of UCs.

2380/36 SAT/ACT Score??? My, my, if we had football players that smart on my team, we wouldn’t have to have half the team on academic probation -.-. I like your 2000 hours of commitment to the community, and your junior year is pretty impressive.
I’d consider that your in at anywhere below UCSD; and will probably get into either one of those Top Tier UCs. Maybe even all of them.
