UCSB 2014-2015 TAG

@Matt4200‌ you’re arguing with yourself. She’s not disagreeing with you- she’s saying you’re fine. Now you’re being argumentative just for the sake of picking a fight. Grow up!

@2016Candles‌ - She said “they only accept 14 units of P/NP”.

That’s false so I simply corrected her with information provided directly from the University. And answered her question regarding why I am argumentative.

She was probably basing the 14 units info on your original post. She also said them not accepting six of your units was the worst case scenario - she didn’t say that’s what would happen.

You simply could’ve also said that you spoke to the University and they said XYZ. You did not have to go into a self righteous rant about how much you’re right how much someone else may be wrong.

Matt ALWAYS has to be right… have you seen his topic about being denied at his local CSU because he didn’t take the required speech class for IGETC and arguing with people about it?

<a href=“Denied at my local CSU - Transfer Students - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1625934-denied-at-my-local-csu-p1.html</a></p>

Oh I know all about Matt and his adolescent need to always be right. I’ll be interested in what happens when he takes the LSAT, and isn’t able to argue his way into a better score. Or how he’ll go into a tailspin about how he was unfairly rejected from some top law school because he didn’t have the grades or the LSAT score.

@2016Candles‌ B-) :x

@k4201505‌ - I did get my acceptance for that though.

@2016Candles - I thought I had told reader’s that prior to her post by saying, “Yeah they told me they really just mean 46/60 must be for a letter grade.”

There’s no substitute for a good LSAT score or GPA, either you study the LSAT books and tests and try your hardest or you half ass it. And even if you don’t do well the first time you can always try again and make sure you study.

A law degree is a law degree whether you get it from Harvard or from Whittier Law School it’s essentially the same piece of paper that has the same legal allowances, don’t get too caught up in the prestige of a Top LS. :)

Don’t worry @lindyk8‌ - I have your back! I love the way you look out for your daughter even when she’s gets completely annoyed. You’re probably so good at being her safety net, half the time she probably doesn’t know you’re doing it. My mom is still that way with me, and I’m quite a bit older than the traditional transfer student.

Normally I wouldn’t derail someone else’s thread being so off topic, but I’d be lying if I said I was sorry.

@‌Matt4200
I am not familiar with how CRE is counted. My guess is it would be counted toward the P/NP limitations and as an elective.
At it again I see lol.

@Annie2015‌ -

Yeah I was just curious about that because they had the CRE grade option when I was entering my courses on the UC application but it doesn’t rly say anything about it on UCSB’s catalog. And yes I guess so lol
