Ucsb-accepted or rejected

is it me or does it seem like everyone got accepted to ucsb.... can one person tell me if they got rejected??

UGH this could be our year of getting admitted evertwhere. I havent heard many people get rejected from schools

I was rejected from UCSB about a week ago.

if you dont mind me asking… what was your major and your second choice of major

I thought second choice majors were only considered for TAP (UCLA/UCB) students? Correct me if I’m wrong.

The people who go on CollegeConfidential do not whatsoever, represent the majority of applicants who applied to the UCs. It doesnt make sense to think that everyone got in only because you havent heard about any rejections on this website.

im not making this assumption on just the people here on this website OBVIOUSLY. its based on community college i attend and most of the people i know from here at home. its like we all got into ucsb and i come here and its the same story

haha okok my bad. Its just that many people dont grasp that concept. I guess the ucsb acceptance rate is just relatively high then.

yeah im getting freaked out …like we have another ucsd situation here

UGH618- My major was Biology. I didn’t have a second choice of major. I have a 3.4 and have done 6/12 of the prerequs (which is probably why I didn’t get accepted, although my friend got in with nearly the same stats).

i got rejected also…

for bio, just finish chem, bio, math, ochem and physics with higher than a 3.2 and you’ll get in.

guitarfrk123- Easier said than done! If I took all of those classes, I would be way over my units. There are so many prerequs for the prerequs (for calculus especially). It takes forever! I’m hoping to finish my ochem and calc this summer and fall quarter, and maybe I can transfer to one of the UCs during winter quarter.

UGD well do you like to see people getting rejected or not? say say what??? I think its nice for everyone to get admitted, hell everyone who deserves it should get accepted anywhere.
