Alternate major: Philosophy

@realbetag I’m really into psych and my best subject is English, especially phonetics/structure. And I’ve worked with a bunch of special ed kids with speech impediments so linguistics could help me become a speech language pathologist or an occupational therapist :slight_smile:

@randomkid98 I disagree that UCSB is a safe school for you. Looking at the freshman admissions statistics from last year, the top 25% of students had at least a 4.23 (vs your 4.18), and a score off 33 or higher on the ACT (equal to yours). It’s not a reach by any means, but with you I would put it at a low match.
