I think I have little hope to get into UCLA or UCB…So it’s time to focus on UCSB. Any chance for me to get in?

I heard that UCSB is more holistic than UC, and if that’s true, my chance of getting here is definitely lower than UCD. My strong point is that numbers comparatively even though, I know, mine is not really impressive but decent. Sigh…

Hey guys, I just made my account yesterday, but have been on these forums for quite some time now. I am in the same boat as some of you. I was waitlisted to both UCD and UCSD. I am very worried about UCSB because it is my number one choice

I got an email from UCSB asking me to register for their Open House… does this mean I got in? I don’t see why they would send it to ppl that didn’t get in lol.

I didn’t get the Open House email. So far accepted to UCI (CHP), UCD, and UCSD. Maybe I’ll get rejected from UCSB haha.
@KuyaStiel Is the email for the April 8, 2017 Spring Insight Open House? This is for both admitted students and prospective students. They invite the whole community here in town.
@Ynotgo oh I see. So this isn’t any indication whether we got accepted? What do you mean by admitted and prospective? Students admitted for the incoming fall quarter?

Admitted = seniors and transfer students who have been admitted for fall by April.
Prospective = juniors and younger
