@cdnotready I was also rejected by ucla and Davis. I haven’t heard anything from Irvine either so I am assuming I didn’t get it.
Do they look at your major and decide if you get into the school or not, because I chose Economics and Accounting and I’m really worried

Feel completely hopeless. Had a family discussion and my parents thought that I would not get into ANY college this year…

two major ec’s, two clubs but just membership
I honestly scrolled through UCSB’s CC page to find acceptances of people with similar stats of me and I only found maybe 2 or 3, hoping for a miracle.
I just checked my portal and got this message:

The ec’s part…about the same as yours. Officer of a club, member of another club. I made some mistakes when filling out the UC App and some info I put in wasn’t recorded
I’m already planning to go to a community college and transfer lol…Still can’t accept the truth that my friends are all going to schools like UCI and UCSD while I CANNOT GET INTO ANY COLLEGE
@kajah0602 I felt the same way as you when I was applying to colleges as a freshman–I got rejected to all of my options. You’ve got a good chance for another shot with community college, as well as saving lots of money along the way! Before I used to think cc was dinky, but I’m grateful for their programs now as a transfer.

I’m considering going to community college because I believe two years later the situation won’t be worse than it is now…Especially when there is TAG.
It might just take me some time to accept the truth that I am going to a community college…Thank you anyway!

@kajah0602 I messed up the UC app too, I accidentally listed a normal class in the section for classes that are extracurricular and not counted for school and I listed it where I was supposed to list it too. I hope they don’t think I did it on purpose because it might seem like that.
I’m really scared, I got rejected from Davis, LA, Cal Poly and probably Irvine and waitlisted to UCSD. I was pretty surprised I got rejected from Davis, my GPA is 4.03 which isn’t great but I have a 35 ACT, I think it was my essays and application that messed me up. I did get into UW and Santa Clara but I can’t afford either of those, I don’t know what I’ll do if I don’t get into UCSB
