<p>So I was admitted yesterday to UCSB via the online portal, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not UCSB mails out physical letters as well?

<p>I was admitted yesterday too! I was surprised! I thought I was going to be rejected due to the high numbers of applicants.</p>

<p>D was accepted in 2010. She did receive an official notice in the mail. At that time the package included the acceptance letter and the FA award info. IIRC…it arrived in a big envelope.</p>
<p>I was admitted to UCSB and got into UCSC! Everyone is trying to convince me to pick UCSB, but I don’t know yet. I didn’t feel good about getting in because it was an Ex friends dream school. She’s probably going to hate me more because I believe she didn’t got rejected. But congrats to everyone!</p>
<p>Did everyone notice that UCSB closed their web portals on March 19th from 8 am till 3 pm . =.= Trolls lol It was so slow when I tried to log on at 3:25. lol UCSC said they would release their results at 5 am, but released them at 12 am. All it said was you have been accepted to UCSC for the 2013 fall quarter.</p>
<p>I got nothing from UCSC. Still says “thank you for submitting your app for fall 2013”</p>
