UCSB Admissions!!!!!

<p>ronton is UCSB your top choice? i don't know if UC appeals are very successful, but I know I saw a link somewhere on the UC site and someone posted here before about the sucess rate of appeals...I know appeals for like UCLA have a low success rate, but maybe UCSB's is a little better</p>

<p>Feels good after being rejected from UCLA to get in somewhere. If I don't get into Berkeley I'm going on a shooting rampage.</p>

<p>Well UCSB wasn<code>t a top choice for me at all. I kinda thought it would be somewhat of a saftey school. My top choices are Irvine and Berkeley. Irvine still hasn</code>t said anything and Berkeley isn<code>t till the 31st, so I don</code>t know. I'm scared now. I<code>m still waiting on replies from Irvine, Davis, San Diego and Berkeley. But my rejection from SB makes me think that I have no chance at the others. :( I</code>m really scared now. But I guess I could always go to Cal Poly SLO, but I dunno how it compares to UCI and the other UCs.</p>

<p>I feel lucky I got in considering a lot of really qualified people who didn't. My best friend didn't get in and she had a 3.6 GPA with 1390 SATI's and like 1970 total SATII's. She was also president of her class and had a crapload of EC's and stuff. It's ridiculous she didn't get in :(</p>
