UCSB allows Winter Transfers, limited to only 300 spaces

I am considering it. Kind of hoped for a little better school like SD.

I have 40 units now, would be a little tough to get to 60, but definitly doable.

just take a few classes this summer, and then a full load in the fall, you can do it!, I'm gona try, its worth a shot

cool. SO i am not alone.

The nice thing is they admission person told me housing is very possible.

WHat's ur major?

business econ... illl be missing 2 classes, but my councelor said that as long as you hace a competative gpa (3.1-3.2) you will do fine.

wow, only 300 spaces? out of how many applicants, typically?

DAMN this thead is from April 19...

It's no longer accurate.... I am not doing it. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

LOL

UCR is doing Spring transfer...

okay, geez, sorry. haha.

i still haven't submitted my application but i'm still doing it, winter & fall.

come on! just tell me! that was only a couple months ago. it should still be accurate. did you hear it straight from a ucsb rep?

please. i'm scared now.

Check this page (the sidebar on the right):

* Application filing period:
July 18-August 18, 2005*

Sorry, I thought you were just asking if it was open or not, you can ignore my post.

um, i don't remember where i heard that 4 month ago. Things could have changed... I read it most likely from their website...

I'd go to ucop and call them... Right now the phone lines of all uc admissions are pretty open, just call and the people there are usually friendly. :)
