UCSB, Bryn Mawr, UCR, or Fordham?

<p>I'm trying to choose between:</p>

<p>UCR (Communication & Media Studies I think? Also got an email saying I got into pre-business)
Fordham ($20,000 scholarship with Comm & Media Studies)
UCSB (undeclared college of letters & science)
Bryn Mawr (undeclared)</p>

<p>I am considering transferring after a year in college so I would also like to know if that should affect my decision in any way.</p>

<p>I would appreciate any advice - concerning anything like academics, the Asian community, student life, housing...etc.</p>

<p>Where exactly is it that you want to be? Which of these places is the closest substitute for that? What is your back-up plan if the transfer doesn’t work?</p>

<p>I am hoping to transfer to Emory. I honestly have never visited any of those and have no idea as to which would be a closest substitute.</p>
