I applied to UCSB for the fall of 2015 and I need to know If I have a chance of getting in!
Major: Pre-communication
School GPA: 3.62
UC GPA: 4.0
SAT: 2080 (750 M, 730 W, 600 CR)
ACT: 29
EC’s: Sport for 4 years, 4 clubs (one that I co-founded), a pre-college program at UCLA, and 1 volunteer thing that I did for 2 year.
Location: OOS, from New York.
Essay’s: I’d rate them a 7/10… Pretty good but definitely not amazing.
Other schools: Accepted: UMiami and Chapman, Rejected: UT Austin, and Waitlisted: UCSD.
Comments: My GPA is kinda low but my SAT’s good. I was invited to the Chancellor’s Reception for top applicants in NYC and I know that many people say that means I was accepted, but it’s not guaranteed for OOS so I’m worried!! Especially since I was just waitlisted from UCSD!
