I agree your GPA is low for the Mid Tier UC’s. You might want to consider UCSC and UCR if you are set on attending a UC,</p>
<p>i think you’re in the running… also how do you calculate UC GPA? is it different from the standard A=4 B=3 C=2?</p>

<p>Thanks for the replys, intended major is English (pre-law), I don’t know if thay changes anything. Also had to move 5 times during high school due to parents divorce, etc. </p>
<p>Also, is interview an important factor with UCSB?</p>
<p>On other post, UCSB does not offer interviews nor do the other UC’s.</p>
