<p>Last year the “first batch” came out on a Friday the 3rd and 500/2000 on the waitlist were admitted last year
Pretty sure they will be coming in batches
I got a 24 ACT and a 3.8 weighted ( I know really low )
But I think I had a good reason to explain my low test scores and grades
Also had a good amount of extracurriculars and i appealed. Good luck to everyone.</p>

<p>@ucsbgoodluck i would say you have a 40% chance. The average SAT score is around 1940-1950 and youre close to the average GPA.<br>
I had a 1900 SAT and a 3.68 weighted gpa with 4 years of football and baseball and i got flat out rejected. I appealed though</p>

<p>@puingpuing I have not received my decision, but I believe they have done it in batches in the past. The site is “scheduled for maintenance” tomorrow. So hopefully it’s the decisions. </p>

<p>Heys guys. Nervous huh? I wonder how many waitlist applicants they are taking this year. Hopefully a lot so we can all get in.</p>
<p>I just called and they told me that they had a good amount of SIRs and that if they accept applicants from the wait list it will be very minimal.</p>

<p>I was waitlisted and appealed in April and got in today! 5:07PM PST. They emailed me that some statuses have been updated and when i checked my appeal status was approved!!! 3.71UCGPA, 2120 SAT. </p>
<p>I still didn’t get mines. Very minimal=not good</p>
<p>Well, it was nice having hope! Sometimes you can’t go to your dream school, and if that’s the case, it’s ok. I already SIR’ed at UCSC and it seems like an alright school.</p>
