Yes, I did appeal and I am on the waitlist. However, I was notified today that my appeal was denied.</p>

<p>From what I believe, if your appeal was not approved, it is because the appeal did not work. I do not think there is an underlying meaning to it.
Also, appeal and waitlist are two different processes so if your appeal was not approved but you are still on the waitlist, than you still have a chance to get in through the waitlist. So keep your head up!! there is still a chance!</p>

<p>finally … it came out. but not admitted. suck so bad. i thought 3.9 weighted gpa , 1700, and 1000 hrs of volunteer was enough.</p>

<p>I am also on the waitlist and appealed. Today when I logged on about 2:10 pm the appeal status has also changed to “not approved” . </p>

I guess if you got accepted you found out earlier. </p>

<p>Ya I just looked and did not get an email or anything… So happy with that school right now haha Esp when they just told me today they were not gonna post any decisions until later</p>

What type of stuff did you include in your appeal to UCSB? I got waitlisted and wanted to do that same
