UCSB CS or UC Berkeley EECS?

I’m trying to decide right now between both of my top choices of UCSB and UCB. I know that Berkeley has a much higher ranking than SB and their program is way more rigorous. I think that my quality of life would be much higher at SB where I would be allowed to have both social experiences and be pushed academically. If anyone has an insight on Berkeley’s EECS and the quality of life that surrounds the major or personal experiences that could help me decide on these two programs would be greatly appreciated.

EECS. Not a EE or CS person myself, but a Berkeley EES degree will carry you far in life, and it’s a fantastic program. It’s difficult, but the average starting salary of Berkeley EECS grads is over 100k, I believe.
