UCSB decisions up

…However, I’m not sure whether or not I was accepted. This is really strange.

It had “Cancelled by Admissions Office” by “Admission Status,” but right below it, it had a long letter of congratulations.
(decided to edit out actual text)

Nothing else on the page indicates that my admission was “cancelled,” except under “Admission Status” at the top. Does anyone know what this is all about?

Could it be that decisions weren’t supposed to be posted yet, so the Admissions Office cancelled everyone’s “admission status”?

I can’t celebrate yet! :frowning:

At least you have something!!! I still get::

"Admission Status: Decision Pending" :(

And I was invited to that reception thing, were you?

I wasn't invited. :-

:-/

sigh...........I hate rolling admissions....................

Mine still says decision pending...but I now have a UCSB Perm # which I've never had before...good sign?

"Access to the application status is site is currently unavailable due to regularly schedule maintenance."

anyone know when it'll be back up?

How do you get the perm #?

it's back up if you want to check

god i hate rolling admissions UCI or UCSB please post decisions already i cant wait untill the 15th!!!

i still have "decision pending" too...has anyone actually been accepted yet?

the prem # is in the upper right hand corner of the box that STILL says "decision pending"

When do the UCSB decisions come out? The website says "by the 15th" for freshmen, so does that mean they've started sending letters? Has anyone been accepted yet?

i got the regent's scholarship, 6,000 dollars a year minimum

xmisterpenguin: i don't think anyone has been accepted yet. decisions should be up by 15th then.

oh. thanks, awaken.

Do all of you have perm numbers up? I'm a transfer student (applying with the guaranteed transfer program), and my perm number just appeared, though it still says decision pending.

I have a perm number, too. I think we all do, now?

Well, the UCSB website says this on their help page:

Perm Number
This is the unique 7-digit identification number that is issued by the Office of the Registrar **to each incoming student
*. *

Hopefully that's good news.

oo. Cool. Hopefully. =]

I found that definition of the # on this page:

http://www.commserv.ucsb.edu/residents/order_service/signup_common_help.asp

Obviously, don't take that as an acceptance until the website says you're accepted though, I don't want to crush anyone's hopes.

Anyway, has anyone not received a perm number yet?
