I'm planning on applying to UCSB this November. I have finished my TAG (not submitted yet) and I have all the requirements completed.

However, on Assist, it states that to be admitted into the Economics and Accounting Pre-Major, you must have a commutative GPA of 2.75 in one microeconomics course, one macroeconomics course, and one of the two options; one calculus course and one statistics
course or two calculus courses.

My first year of college, I was a complete idiot, got all Cs, and happen to take micro, macro and stats. However after my first year, I have almost a perfect academic record.

The Issue is that if they take the "one stats and one calculus course" I will not meet this requirement. However, i'm taking a second calculus course now, if I get an A in this course , and they instead take the two calculus courses I WILL meet the requirement (cumulative will be like 2.9).

My question: Do they take the better one? If I don't get an A, what are my option? Can they admit me and allow me to retake an economics course at UCSB?

I think it's stupid that they don't include managerial and financial accounting courses into this pre-major requirement. Both if which I have A's in :)

Thank you guys for the help in advance
