UCSB EOP Program

I put on my UC application that i would like to be considered for this. Would anyone happen to know when people are notified of this and how??thanks!

I received my notice today so i’m assuming you should be hearing back soon.

I received my acceptance into EOP today. This truly would have been a decision breaker between UCSB and UCSC, but the numbers that I got in my unofficial financial aid award letter is too big… As in I got no aid whatsoever.

I was also accepted in EOP but I have no clue what it is. Anyone know anything about it or how it works?

I just got accepted into EOP yesterday. I didn’t even apply for EOP! What is it?

its just like a mentoring/advising program for students. @jaylower are you a first generation college student??or low income??

yup! So is there any advantage in having this program?

well im not sure i dont know much about it either so im planning on going to their program overview during spring insight lol

I got accepted as well and might take advantage of it since I definitely do need advice and guidance while out there. UCSB is like 9 hours from home :frowning: and I am SUCH a newb already. College is looking like it’s going be a life changing experience.

Are there any financial benefits (exclusive scholarship/grants) for being in EOP?

I am a first generation college student but I didn’t even apply for EOP since I thought you had to be super-low income…

Does being EOP help you get priority registration for lower division GE classes?
