ucsb extension

I’m going to UCSB in the fall but was thinking about taking a summer class. My major is Sociology and I’m a transfer student in the pre-major. The extension school is offereing a Soc class during summer and I was wondering if I could take it. It’s convenient b/c i live 20 min from the extension school and i live 1 hr from UCSB. I’d be able to keep my job for the summer and stay at home. Anyone know anything about this? I’m not sure who to ask at the moment. I have an appt. with my GC in the middle of May. THanks

see web page at http://www.unex.ucsb.edu/ss/ccu/ and look for "Transfer of UCSB Extension Credit to Degree Programs"

You don't need to go through extension for a summer course (unless its a certificate type course you want). UCSB summer sessions has open enrollment. http://www.summer.ucsb.edu/
