In response to a previous post (I forgot who it was), TAG is pretty strict at UCSB, atleast for Pre-Econ & Accounting. I’ve had two friends get their admissions rejected last year when they fulfilled all TAG requirements for Pre-Econ & Accounting but were finishing their pre-reqs around the time admissions were coming out. They called in and asked for a reason and were told that they priority was given to students who finished their pre-reqs the quickest.
I feel like no matter what college I apply to, I won’t hear back until the very last minute for all the UCs. So of course, I’ll be anxious until the very end. Just what I need this close to midterms and finals.
Major: Psych/Feminist and Gender Studies/Cog Science
GPA: 3.8
IGETC: Will Complete by Spring
Applied: UCSB, UCSC, UCI, UCD, UCB, CSUMB
TAG: No
Accepted: CSUMB
I really should have applied non-engineer major for at least one school.
I don’t understand why all decisions can’t be send at once.
Accepted or rejected, it would be nice to be certain.
If Davis and Cal can do it, all the others shouldn’t have an excuse not to.

That is not the case. It’s based on the college you applied to within UCSB.
Or that’s what it seems like at least.
Same boat. 3.09 but thought it wouldn’t hurt to try right? It’s my dream school. So if I get in it’s really something to be valued.
