Not to mention there have been many one-year transfers, including a few in this thread alone. I really doubt they took 46 units in a year!

@itakenotes Apparently they will be releasing admission decisions on a rolling basis until April 30. They said they will be releasing new decisions every weekday.

I have not yet received an email. I’m pretty sure the emails are delayed at all the UCs.

Anyone got accepted with engineering major? I am still waiting for that.

All Engineering transfers:

So today I spoke to the head lady for engineering transfer admission in the engineering school. I’ve spoken to her a few times. She said today she sent out the rejections only. She then said they aren’t even close with being finished with the rest of the applicants, so we won’t hear back until late April like every year.

She said the electrical and chemical engineering applicants this year were “phenomenal”. Which scares me, because I’m chemical. But at least we didn’t hear back today, because that would most likely mean a rejection lol.

I’m wondering if the reason why engineering applications are saved for last is because engineering majors are inherently masochistic. I mean, you guys must be if you willingly put yourself through those hellish classes >:)

@wtcantfw

Admitted with 2.98 Econ GPA with TAG?

hmmm.

2.98. Good luck submitting those transcripts.
@wtcantfw

I don’t have a 2.98. The other guy does. Its impossible to have a TAG with that GPA. Look at his post.
@uchopeful414

@wtcantfw Do you even TAG, bro?

@Cheolf mmm… define “hellish classes” :slight_smile: I, for one, find econ, philosophy or political science to be a pure brainrape. Forgot sociology! (oh, god, how did I even survive that?..) At least in math, chem and physics there is just one correct answer (most of the time). >:)
So, I am guessing they are done for the day? Will check back tomorrow.

One answer that takes forever to understand how you get there to begin with

@lenocturne Different strokes for different folks I suppose! I’m a philosophy major myself. I can’t imagine getting myself into all those math and science classes that you have to do @-)

ACCEPTED !!!
3.65 gpa
No tag
Econ major

UCSB was my number one choice and I got in!
Psych major; I tagged and I have a 3.22 GPA.
Finishing last 2 classes needed for major this semester.
