I went to a 4-year school as a music major for two years and I’m at a CCC this year only. I only had time and credits to finish my general ed so I’ve been super nervous about admissions! I’m so happy to get into UCSB!

@BlackPlasma Yes, 3.61. Should I be worried? I’ve seen people with same major as me and got in with a lower Gpa than me…That makes me scared

I think your good as long as you have your pre reqs.
I have a 3.32 with all my pre-reqs completed. (Actually took accounting 2 for winter term and get an A. Updated TAU again around Feb 11 to input grade. If UCSB considers it, it should bring me up to 3.38.)
I’m just scared that when I updated the second time, the application on all portals to the UC’s I applied to, read TAU submitted on Feb 11. (I originally submitted before deadline.)
I got no TAG. Lol.
I’m nervous as hell. 
I do not want to be pessimistic but one of my classmates majoring in engineering got accepted today.
He submitted the application on the original due date(11/30). Not seems like “First come first serve”.
They might have sorted a bunch of applications out based on their own criteria,
and then have given admissions to most qualified students among students in the first tier today.
I am very worried about having the lower priority, because applicants in the lower priority have
much lower chance to get in. If UCSB thinks that someone is a qualified applicant, there is no reason to put
that applicant on “Decision Pending”.
@Messaeggi maybe they think you won’t attend their school because you have too high a GPA?
