I just checked UCSC’s Fall 2015 acceptance stats and the average GPA of those accepted for Computer Science was between 3.18-3.74. I think you have a good shot so keep your chin up! Best of luck to you!

EE was first and only choice. And I checked at 3:10. And was Accepted. GPA was 3.94 but not much EC if that helps

Addmitted to UCSD but as undeclared which should basically be a rejection. So I know how it feels with waiting and getting rejected. Last year I applied after deadline so maybe that was why. Regardless of outcome all of y’all should be proud.

@ElliotR Don’t get down on yourself, Elliot! You have a pretty solid GPA, and CS is hard. I think you have a great shot at UCSC.
