I think you have a week after you get the decision on your portal to submit SIR. I think letters in the mail come a few days after you get updated on your portal but you have a week from when you got the decision in your portal
You guys I just checked my portal and I got in!!! I have until 6/20 to respond so a week is correct.

Well good news is I got admitted by UCR via the invitation they sent me few weeks ago
Idk… if I should just give up on checking and accept that I’ll be going to UCSC

@siarota same here. Just got accepted to UCR. I’m going through the catalog now and if I like what I see in comparison to UCSB, I’m just going to SIR and get the ball rolling. I’ll make sure to remove myself from UCSB waitlist so someone can take my spot.
Just sent in my SIR for UCR. Anyone know how to withdraw my waitlist offer from UCSB?
@College4Fun I would email the admissions office to get taken off the waitlist. I don’t think I got an invitation from UCR but maybe it’s in my email from a while back. When did you guys get the invite?
