Admissions told me my sons 3.5 tag was waitlisted cuz he only had 28 units by Sept 30th but was impressed that he had just graduated in May and obtained 60 units by Spring b4 admission.

My son also applied UCSB TAG and got waitlisted, but has required GPA and credits. He contacted admissions using the online form and hasnā€™t heard back yet and will email and call tomorrow. Would be good to know if you have had a response yet?

They told us needed 30 units BEFORE fall & 60 by end of spring or =waitlisted

They clear freshman waitlist after june 1st drop dead date b4 transfers in july so only crappy housing left.

Yes, it says that on the TAG matrix "Minimum UC transferable units completed to submit a TAG ". See University of California Counselors

Seems prejudice to the ap kids as mine had none as the college GE course during highschool were easier but still took summer & winter full time effort to get 60 which is the more important.

She e-mailed and heard back a day later. Because she got some incorrect advice from a counselor, she took a level 1 English class not a level 2, so she technically did not have enough credits :frowning:
