Used edited versions of essays I submitted last year for first-year admissions (was WL back then), only 1 new activity since starting college in Fall 2021 but ECs were relatively strong I think
My D was waitlisted for Env Sci. 3.4 GPA. She quickly accepted the waitlist, although they don’t update the results until after June 1. She previously got the TAG at UCD so it’s not creating too much stress (thankfully).
Congrats to all of the students who applied, regardless of the result I know from my D’s experience how hard all of you worked to get to this point.

Better find out. Major Requirements | Department of Political Science - UC Santa Barbara
Prereqs are weeder classes at UCSB and gpa requirement 2.6 in JUST THOSE is tough since for transfers its often only 2 classes which sends many changing major. LASC college is one of the few CC that offers equiv of Poli 15 (Pol050 online) and is just quizlet exams no papers. Statistics only counts as 1/2 equivalent w/ comm 88 as the other which many have to repeat. We have 2 transfer sons who both got in on appealthis past winter quarter.
