UCSB Financial Mathematics Program

I was recently accepted into UCSB for Chemical Engineering and due to qualifying for the Regent Scholarship, I am seriously considering attending UCSB this Fall. My main concern is this; since the start of the year, when I applied for Engineering, I have begun to be interested in finance and economics. But I don’t quite want to give up Engineering without first knowing about the Financial Mathematics Program at UCSB. My main concern is internship and job opportunities. Are there any students who have gone through this program who can share their experience with me? Honestly, I’m not quite sure what I want to do in the future; I just know that Finance and Economics really interest me. If anyone can offer advice/opinions, I would be really grateful!
