Hi, so I was recently admitted to UCSB as a transfer student and I was about to submit my SIR when I realized I made a mistake on my transcript… I thought that my one unit PE class was non-transferable so I didn’t list it. Turns out, my class is transferable. I know it’s only 1 unit but I got a B in the class. Will UCSB rescind my admission offer? Who do I contact to get this fixed?
I feel confident in promising you that no school on earth would rescind admission over a misreported or missing PE credit or B grade. Just let them know about the mistake–not sure whether at this point it would be the admissions office, office of undergraduate studies, or the registrar.
As an alum and a transfer to ucsb from uci. They would NEVER rescind your offer. You’re not the first and when they get the official transcript, they will make sure you get all the credit you are due. You are going to LOVE UCSB! Have you figured out which dorm you will be in? I hope you live on campus (or off campus ucsb housing). It will make your transition easier. Making friends, etc. Get a good bike lock! If you have questions about anything at UCSB utilize all of the resources they offer. They are there for you!
