<p>btw, the guy from CCS emailed me back and said he’d bring it up to the academic counselor lady…at least he didn’t flat out say “eff you, get lost looser”…maybe there is hope after all, crossing my fingers here…</p>
<p>Amen to that – I’m keeping my hopes up that I still have a chance to get in. I’m just anxious as hell; this is the endgame of a good ten years of struggle and anguish, and a lot of that is bubbling up all at the same time. If I get accepted, I will be so incredibly happy and relieved…and I’m going to throw one hell of a party. :D</p>

<p>Hey guys, thanks for all the info about UCSC - I’m planning on visiting, it looks like I got my heart set for that place, just going on the UCSC section of forum gives me a good vibe about this uni. Everyone who attends seems to love being there, anyway I just wanna wish the rest of you luck on UCSB, either way I’m still all for team U SEE LAWSUIT!

<p>Is there anyone that is still pending that has below a 3.0 GPA? I thought I read somewhere that most applicants under a 3.0 were rejected already, and here I am with a 2.83 GPA, 3.25 in the Philosophy classes though, with all prereqs (besides my second semester of English, which im taking currently) completed. Whatchyo guys’ stats that are still pending?</p>

Side note: I was accepted last year with around a 2.8 but I go rescinded because I had to drop my spring classes for medical reasons</p>

<p>Had my maths completed but I’m pretty sure it was a major pre-req issue. I needed 4 semesters worth of foreign language for English Major according to ASSIST, but I’m currently only doing and will complete only one foreign language course, I’ve done everything else for university and major pre-reqs. I can only assume it was because of that, I can’t think of any other reason.</p>
