<p>I got an email confirmation for my housing application and it said “good luck in your continued academic endeavors at UC Santa Barbara.” I REALLY hope this means we got in! i haven’t heard from ANYONE yet!!</p>
<p>They could just be covering their bases by sending the email out to everyone who is admitted/pending, but hopefully your ability to submit a housing application is a sign of good things to come.</p>
<p>I got the email too and for a second I was like…NO WAY…but then…pending…so yeah I don’t know. I’m already psyched for rejection…this stupid yo-yo effect is getting really exhausting!</p>

<p>Ok…sorry to pop everyone’s bubble but…I was checking my old emails and, since I was accepted into the University of Oregon, I noticed they started sending the housing apps BEFORE I was admitted…so yeah…the thing is…a bunch of people also got rejected…so…if UCSB is like Oregon, I don’t think it means anything

<p>maybe a lot of people are trying to log on… I just tried to go back to the application by clicking the link I got in the email and I saw the same thing sunnyseas… Lets just hope this means we’re getting decisions by monday! I’ll just be optimistic and say we have a decent chance of getting in…</p>

<p>hmm… thats definitely possible…but I think it would be a little weird to send out a housing app to everyone who is still pending when more then half of the apps have already been evaluated… idk though, i guess we’ll just have to wait and see</p>
