<p>I took this speed test @ Davidson Library (main UCSB library) some months ago:

It’s VERY fast.</p>
<p>I don’t have any from the dorms but I remember it (from last year) averaging 50-70 Mbps when the speed was unlimited. This was between 1AM and 6PM. After 6PM if you use like 2 GB of data they start reducing your download speed.</p>

<p>^ Wow, that is really fast. Usually the library has been slower than my apartment complex, so I rarely go to the library. During finals week it can take a few minutes to load a single page.</p>

<p>I live in San Clemente as well, here is the most recent speedtest through WiFi:</p>

<p>Its pretty good, but it does slow down at peak hours (8-10PM). San Clemente uses the same ISP as the dorms (ResNet) so it is similar to the dorms’ speed.</p>
