UCSB or Georgia Tech

Hi everyone,

So the deal is I got accepted into UCSB for computer science and Georgia Tech for electrical engineering but I can’t decide between the two.

Here are my major questions:

How good is the computer science program at UCSB?

What is Georgia Tech and Atlanta even like? I have never been there and transitioning from California to Georgia seems like quite the change.

Is Georgia Tech worth spending another $10,000?

Any other input/thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated.

Georgia Tech’s engineering school and electrical engineering program are in the top ten nationally. Atlanta is a modern city in every sense of the word, with a metropolitan area population of over 6 million and growing, which is about twice the size of metro San Diego. GT is also top ten in computer science.
