<p>you should ask yourself if you can handle the cut-throat situations at UCLA and come out somewhere near the top</p>
<p>My D got accepted to UCLA, but UCSB gave her an amazing financial package…it’s very possible she will happily go there and not regret not going to UCLA.</p>

<p>well all i got is the regents scholarship, so there’s not much difference in price, 5-7k’ish i guess</p>

Because I got Regents to UCSB and not Cal. UCSB is giving me about $50,000 over 4 years whereas Cal might only give me up to $8,000 over 4 years. Now that’s a big difference.</p>
