I have been admitted to the psychology department a UCSB and the chemical engineering program at UCR. I can't choose which university to go to. HELP...

If you are pretty confident you want to be a ChemE then the decision is easy. Riverside. While a few kids manage to change their major into engineering, 5x as many are turned away (from a recent post in the UCSB forum by a disappointed dad who’s son was unable to do so).

If you’re less sure about your future, and are willing to give up hopes of ChemE, then visit both and decide.

I agree it’s MUCH easier to get into a psychology major than an engineering major. So unless you suddenly decided against ChemE you should take UCR.
