I'm pretty sure I will major in economics/math (joint) at either UCSD or UCSB. Which social science program is better? I'm going to attend graduate school somewhere, probably for law or economics or business. But what school program will give me a better job or admission to graduate school after the first 4 yrs?

Ucsd >>> Ucsb

ucsd > ucsb in every way

Better job = networking.

UC Santa Barbara is the best for that. Plus we have a nobel winner in Econ :).

we've (ucsd) had three, lol...

UCSD all the way

I will be majoring in math/econ there starting next year

im going to ucsb over ucsd... i've heard some pretty horrible things about ucsd's social scene

UCSD currently have 2 Econ Nobel prize winners as professors I think.

Econ the second most popular major at UCSD? What? Since when?

I think UCSB

Yup, the ECON department has the second most number of major after the BIO division. 2183 for ECON and 4814 for BIO.

For UCSD students
The Econ Tutor

Interesting.
