UCSB pre-req question

I'm attending LACC and will apply to UCSB's Economics and Accounting major for Fall 2011 and one of the pre-reqs is Business Calculus. On assist.org it says I have to complete Math 236 & Math 237 (Business Calculus 1 and 2) BUT my CC NEVER offers the second Business Calculus course.

On assist.org it says "Completion of one calculus course is required for acceptance into this major" so does that mean I'm fine if I just complete the first Business Calculus course at my CC and not the second since it's never offered anyway?

Try looking at a different CC around your area

They’ll understand your CC doesn’t offer it, but if a CC near your offers it, it won’t hurt your chances to take it.

i think what everyone else has said sounds about right, but if you want to really be sure you can contact UCSB Admissions.

[UCSB Admissions](http://www.admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/)

admissions@sa.ucsb.edu

that way you can find out if it’s worth it or not to try to take it at another CC. im not quite sure how the TAG would work if you take the second bus calc at another CC and also it’d be another school you’d have to deal with getting transcripts from. just something to keep in mind, im sure UCSB Admissions will help clear everything up.

Does anyone know if you can still sign TAG for UCSB if you attend more than one community college?

Yes. Also note for UCSB and UCSD it is also paperless. Just check it on the UC App.

yeah and regarding the TAG, my counselor said it’s like question 14 on the app and then they screen your application differently or something.
