My son had an interview last week. Don’t know if everyone has an interview, or if that means you have passed an initial screen. He received the interview request 1-2 weeks after application was complete. Good luck to you both, it looks like it would be a great summer on many dimensions.
My son just submitted the application after 11pm, but he did not receive an email with a link for scholarship application form. Did anyone get scholarship for this program? The residential program is very expensive. Thanks.
yes it is. from what I have read on here, there were a lot of unnecessary weekend “outings” which drive up the cost. after reading that, I just wasn’t as keen.

This program has decisions released around mid April.
My son interviewed (via Skype) in early March and was accepted to RMP the following week. I believe they do rolling admissions. A third party manages the housing and planned activities, and they asked for a deposit within 5-10 days, can’t remember precisely. It looks like a great mix of mentored research and structured classroom learning that covers the research process (writing reports, poster session, elevator pitch.)

It was short (maybe 15 min) and seemed to be more about fit. If you have done research before, you should be ready to talk about it. Otherwise, it seemed to be more of a “get to know you”. My son said that the interviewer was very nice and that it was a comfortable experience. She had read his application and had a question or 2 following up on what he wrote. Good luck!

I applied around three weeks ago, but all I have gotten is that my application is under review.
How do you find out whether you are accepted or declined?
I got the email that my application is under review on March 22nd, and I have not received an update on my application yet.
If accepted, how long do you have to decide whether you are going? Also, does everyone get an interview? Is it a good sign to have one?
@gPdnjs02 keep checking your application portal. They will update the decision. They will even email you.
