<p>It is my honor to offer you and your parent(s) a special invitation to attend UCSB's Jump Start Program (JSP), which takes place on Friday, April 3 through Saturday, April 4, 2009. JSP is a stay-over program that hosts a limited number of students and their parent(s) for a complimentary visit to UCSB! You and your parent(s) will learn more about UCSB's many opportunities through a series of workshops, student panels, informal chats, and by attending our Spring Insight Open House on Saturday. </p>
<p>Students:</p>

<p>I’m from Washington.
Man UCSB is amazing, and you’re gonna be living in a dorm, with other people, so you’re not really going to be alienated unless you live under the blankets in your bed. We are all starting out the same down there, so everyone’s gonna be thinking and acting the same. It’s gonna be fine man, don’t even worry.</p>
<p>and just wondering, when ou got the acceptance packet/envelope, was their stuff in there for finaid? I cant tell if i am getting nothing, or if they haven’t calculated it…</p>
<p>do you not know anyone at ucsb? if you do, you can ask them if you can stay over for a couple days and you can follow them around as they go through their classes which i think will give a better idea of a typical students day than something the school is hosting</p>
