UCSB TAG change in classes

So my tag was accepted and as I have progressed through this fall semester I have discovered that I don’t need to take 2 of the 3 classes I listed on my tag for the upcoming spring 2018 semester. I have already successfully taken my prerequisites and all I need during this upcoming spring semester are 11 transferable UC units, so my question is WILL THEY RESCIND MY TAG IF I CHANGE MY SPRING SEMESTER COURSES??? keep in mind I’ve already completed my IGETC courses so the classes I would most likely take for spring would be classes in which I can pass with good grades in order to stay above the 3.2 GPA threshold

You are mistaken. Nobody has reviewed your TAG and marked it ok. At best you got notification they received it.

As to your main question, if you want to change your TAG the people to ask are the ones working in UCSB admissions and not here. Suppose someone here says it is ok to drop the classes, you do so, but they were mistaken and UCSB voids your TAG? What will you do then?

If i was in your shoes I’d use this form to ask them: https://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/connect/contact-us

My sister TAG’d UCSB and they are saying nothing until mid-March. Like mikemac said, no one has been accepted yet. Reread your notification.

You can change courses as long as all req are still fulfilled.
