UCSB TAG incomplete IGETC questions please help???

Okay, so I have a couple of quick questions:

My UCSB counselor told me that I should cut down the units I'm taking for Spring 2014 since I am taking 19, and that means I would be dropping a 4 unit Biology LAB class.

She said that I can get a partial IGETC completion, since Biology LAB is the last class I need to complete my IGETC.

Problem is, I am wondering what position this would put me in when they would be deciding whether I am admitted or not?

Would I be at a disadvantage from not completing IGETC by the end of Spring 2014 with 1 science class?

Also...

If my GPA drops to a 3.2 by the end of Spring 2014, am I still guaranteed admission because I was approved and applied to UCSB TAG? (The requirement is to have a 3.2 GPA by Spring 2014)

I did not get anything lower than a "C" on any of my required classes.

Do people get accepted with a 3.2 GPA while they are on TAG?

Please answer ASAP thanks :)

3.2 is fine, though I’m guessing you will probably get a newer, lower GPA to maintain once you get your admission. I think it’s 3.0? That’s what I’ve seen for other schools.

And I am assuming you ended up getting Cs in your accounting and precalc classes…?

Yeah I didn’t do so great this fall…

Anyone else know about the IGETC thing???

call ucsd and ask

Lol. Anyone else?
