UCSB TAG Question

I am applying for UCSB TAG for fall 2019 admission, andI know the tag agreements all say one math course must be done by the end of fall 2018. However, in ASSIST, i have to complete two math courses: Calc 1 and intro to stats. I have already completed Calc 1 but am not taking intro to stats till spring 2019. Does that mean my tag will not be accepted?

if you took the classes required to submit TAG by the Fall deadline then you are eligible to apply via the TAG program. All other classes just need to be taken by Spring.

TAG admission, like all admission, is conditional. The letter you get when they accept your TAG in the Spring will say this. When they get your final transcripts if they find out you have not satisfied the requirements of TAG (courses, gpa, etc) then they will revoke your acceptance.

Note that UCSB does not pre-evaluate your TAG application.

So if you’re missing something that is required they are not going to tell you this fall. By the time you find out it will likely be too late. Have you reviewed your TAG application with the xfer center at your CC?

Calc 1 fulfills the req. you’re fine.
