UCSB TAG Questions

Hi everyone! I’m applying for transfer this year and I will be submitting a TAG to UCSB. I was looking over my coursework on my TAP and I realize that I’m going to be over the overall semester units.
These are the Stats that I currently have. My main concern is that the TAG is a 90 unit maximum and I would have 91 units of coursework. Does AP credit count against the 90 unit maximum. I’m concerned because I worked so hard this past spring semester and pulled a 4.0 GPA with working two jobs. Please tell me I will qualify for TAG :frowning: If it helps, I’m majoring in English as I plan to apply as an English and a Spanish major.

Does TAG only look at ASSIST Certified Courses, in terms of completed units?

                                                    GPA: Units(Sem/Qtr):

ASSIST Certified Courses: 3.23 82.00/123.00
Non-ASSIST Certified Courses: 2.64 9.33/ 14.00
Overall: 3.16 91.33/137.00

As long as they’re lower division units (from a CCC, for example), you are fine. You can have more than 90. That 90 only comes into effect after they add upper division onto lower division. The AP are not included in that count. Your TAG is secure.
