UCSB TAG

Hi everyone
I wanna apply for 2019 tag but I don’t meet one of the requirements which is the 30 minimum units, I have 34 units but 28 of them are transferable.
Do you think I have a chance?

From the UC TAG Matrix it states you need 30 UC transferable units at the time of application (Sept 30) to TAG. So, if you apply with less than 30 units, your TAG will not be accepted. You can however, apply as a regular transfer student or find a 2 unit or higher class to take this summer.

**Who can file a TAG?
Only students transferring directly from a California community college (CCC) are considered for a TAG, including international students (those with a visa).

A CCC transfer student is one who has completed at least 30 semester (45 quarter) UC-transferable units at one or more California community colleges, and the last college the student attended in a regular session (fall/spring or fall/winter/spring) before admission to a UC campus is a California community college.

You could take one more class over summer that’s UC transferable

28 is less than 30 so you do not qualify for the program
