I'm applying to UCSB as a psych major and i have several questions. I completed 3/4 of the pre reqs, so will i not get into psych because i am missing one? Also, i was originally going to apply to UCLA and UCB but due to family circumstances i have to drop 2 classes. Is this going to impact my application in any way? I have a 3.39 UC GPA and i already have 60 UC units and the basic requirements completed. I'm really going through tough times right now and i would appreciate it if i could receive some feedback. Thanks.

bumpppp can anyone please respond

I believe you have until the Spring before transfer to complete your pre-reqs for UCSB.

Your UC-transferrable English and Math courses need to be completed by the end of Fall though.

my english and math courses as well as my 60 units are already completed. I was just wondering if all the pre reqs need to be completed in order to get into psychology @ ucsb?

@la4ever:yea,im pretty much lost as you.i dont know if they accept students who have all their pre-reqs done.sure they check GPA but they check on how much work you have done on your major.I guess the best you could do is finish as most pre-reqs as you can.that’s what I’m going to do so when I apply for Fall 2012,I have a better outlook for UCSB.good luck if you get accepted.
