UCSB To CSUCI

I am about to go into ucsb as a freshman and it is a huge mistake of mine! i hate everything about that school and i let my ego get the best of me when i really wanted to go to csuci and now i cant take it anymore im trying to transfer from ucsb to csuci. what are my chances i am freaking out here because i can't do this

it’s too late to transfer now, but you can transfer in two years i think. but i don’t necessarily think youre making a mistake. you’re getting an amazing quality education at ucsb, despite the fact that you dont like the school environment itself. personally, i think you should stick with ucsb, but if you really despise it that much, i guess you can transfer in 2 years

well im trying to transfer in two years but is it even possible? has anyone done it before?

TONS of people transfer after 2 years. And it’s especially easy if you’re going to a much less selective school like you are

While I find no reason for anyone to dislike a school with as many options as UCSB, you can transfer easily after 2 years with any acceptable GPA. But give the school a chance. In my opinion, if you cant fit in at UCSB, you certainly wont fit in at CSUCI.
