UCSB Transfer student.....

IS anyone here going to be transferring to UCSB for Fall 2005?

Any student who is currently attending SB, tell me what the life is like over there.

I am now debating whether or not I even want to go away for college.

I love my home, my community, everything I need or want is right beside me.

Are the UCSB dorms a better place to meet people, or the Apartments ?

Where should you go if you want to be surrounded by many people or meet many new people?

What do you do on the WEEKENDS there? This is my greatest concern.

If UCSB takes me, I don't know if I want to go now.....because I'm so friggin' worried that I will not make TWO GOOD solid friends(that's all I really want)--I could care less about the partying going on....

UCSB rocks!! I don't regret attending UCSB over UCSD. Don't worry about the party scene. It's only in IV during the weekends. If you don't go there you'll be alright. Lots of students don't party here. But if you compare UCSB with other UCs, SB is definitely a party school. Trust me... it's not a bad thing. It's just one of the tons of options you can do for the weekend. You'll love it here. Make Manzanita Village as your first choice for residence hall. You'll know everyone in your house as there are 41 students in each uilding at MV.

hey well, whussup
