Does anybody know how strong/weak the philosophy department is at UCSB?

I was accepted to UCSB and SLO as a philosophy major and am torn between the two.
I've heard that UCSB has a strong and big philosophy program and their graduates go to top-tier law schools. I'm not too sure about Cal Poly but am considering it because I am in love with the overall campus and what they have to offer.

Help, anyone?

Law school admissions first cares about gpa and lsat scores before anything. It doesn’t matter if you go to the best undergrad philo program if you end up with a low gpa.
Go for the school that will cost you less in the long run, and if that schools it he one you are in love with then go for it.
Also make sure to not let the name of each school influence your choice. Look at the course offerings and major requirements for your department to see if the philosophy major/department at any given school actually interests you. Philosophy departments per school can vary in course requirements and offerings.
