Hey Guys,
I am trying to decide between UCSB and UCI for my undergrad education and plan on going the pre-med track. neither were really my top choices so I don’t really have a preference. I am pretty split down the middle when it comes to my decision on which school to go to. I feel like UCSB is a lot more laid back and would be less stressful because there is not as much competition. however I know that there is not a med-school at UCSB and it has a reputation for being a party school. UCI has an on campus medical school which could be good for internships opportunities, but I have heard that the social life there could be kind of dead. Anyways I was wondering if any once could give me some insight on the pre-med program , the internship opportunities, and the social and academic life for both schools. Also any tips that you guys could offer would be great.
