I am an Asian student from California

I got in all 4 for Chem Major, I plan on changing majors within the same department to something more specific.

Price is not a deal breaker.

Things I disliked about each school

UCSB: Cramped Dorms, Lack of Asian, "Party School" ( I am currently not a party person ), Isolated
UCI: Small Campus, Dull city
SCU: Small Student Body ( YOU KNOW EVERYONE ), Not well known for chemistry?, Less prestigious
U Wash Seattle ( only school I did not visit ): Far from home, Weather, most people do not graduate within 4 years, extremely large student body

I accepted UC DAVIS's waitlist

Any opinions will help

I’m also an asian student from cali
though I don’t know about others like SCU and UWS
but as for UCSB(accepted. i’m probably going there next fall), i looked up the housing, there are actually some dorm/apartment that’s pretty nice and not as cramped, as for partying, it’s personal, you can stay away or you can join in, so i dont see an issue here. though i do agree with you that it is quite isolated D: 1 hr and 30 mins to LA

UCI(still waiting for decision): well i can’t really say the school is small but compare to others yeah~
as for city =D who care, LA isn’t that far from Irvine

Sounds like Irvine is the school you find least objectionable. Probably your best choice then.

For someone with such great choices you sure are negative. First of all you are very lucky to have 4 great options so less whining and more gratitude would be a good place to start.

Personally I would opt for UCSB or UW but you seem to like or rather hate UCI the least.
