I have been accepted to both UCSB and UCLA with my major as business economics. Which one has a better business undergraduate program? I am quite unsure about my major and considering engineering. Which one has a better engineering program? Which UC is better to go to if you want to explore all the majors? And lastly, which one is better overall? (Which one would you go to?)

UCLA is way better overall.

thanks ssobick!

which one is better in business economics and enginerring?

UCLA is the stronger school academically, and in both of your majors. UCLA also has an amazing campus, location, and sports. However, I would still choose UCSB.

I have visited UCSB and UCLA, and I loved UCSB's atmosphere and I could easily picture myself there. But as for UCLA, it was a great school, but it didn't live up to my expectations, and I found UCSB to be the better option.

Good luck with your decision.

UCLA is a better overall school, including both of your majors. UCSB is more fun though, but I'd still pick UCLA. Beautiful girls, weather, sports, and academics. No one can make this decision for you though, you have to pick!

if you were accepted into L&S as pre biz-econ, your odds of tranferring into engineering at either school are very low.

thanks for all you help. it's making my decision a little bit easier.

how hard would it be to transfer to a different major within the L&S college?

anyone else?
